Engine rebuilds availible on request
MTI also offers engine premium engine rebuilds for all budgets on request. Bottom end / Transmission rebuilds also offered with the following features:
1. Choice of Pistons offered [OEM Mitaka (TKR)/ ART]
2. Choice of Connecting Rods [OEM Yamaha / Long/TKR]
3. Choice of Engine bearings [ HIC/SKF/NRB/KOYO]
Also offered is blueprinting engine casings, refurbishing and truing of both transmission shafts and replacement of worn gears or shafts if any required. There is no point having an good revving engine if your gears dont shift. Hence we recommend a complete transmission overhaul including new shifter hooks, selector forks and blueprint engine cases.
You can also choose engine bearings depending on your budget. HIC dot bearings are usually the best for use. They have way longer life and are heavy duty compared to their NRB/SKF counterparts..Reccomended on premium engine rebuilds
Along with this we also offer a good clutch rebuild along with mods to the clutch for better oil flow and retention. This eventually means better life of clutch plates and lesser wear on the clutch. A must have for all RD's. Also brand new clutch kits availible for all premium rebuilds.
We provide Yamaha FZR400 clutch plates on all rebuilds along with custom clutch springs to prevent clutch slippage on high power setups.
All rebores/hone jobs done at MTI are completed on Sunnen Cylinder King machines which ensures the rebore is done right, along with the right clearances used. Chamfering and blueprinting of ports also availible.
Also recommended is getting your cylinder heads machined for higher MSV and desired higher compression over stock depending on your motor requirements. A good reworked head with a wide squish band ensured a good bottom end response, lesser carbon deposits and increased power all through the rev range. Recommended for all setups.

Yamaha Banshee Reed Valves
These are fiber reed valves off the Yamaha Banshee. Much more efficient in terms of flow and throttle response. Over 55% increase in flow area compared to ported RD reeds, resulting in better low end and midrange and increased top end. RZ manifold also included as a part of the package.

59mm-60.25mm pistons for RXG/RX135
These are KAWA pistons for the RX135cc bikes. Way ahead of Indian pistons in terms of quality. Reccomended on high revving setups. Ceramic coated piston crown and superior cast quality.
